We are looking for Chief Engineers for our fleet.
We are A2B-online Ship Management, and we call ourselves the youngest shipping company in the Netherlands.
We are responsible for the management of 7 container vessels operating in the so-called shortsea trade.
These vessels operate between the Netherlands and to 4 ports in the UK (Thamesport, Immingham, Teesport en Blyth).
We ship containerized cargoes for our clients in our own fleet of containers and we are specialized in handling 45” containers.
Vessels are manned with a crew of captain, 3 navigation officers, chief engineer, 3rd engineer, chief cook, 4 ratings and wiper.
We offer short sailing contracts in a back-to-back schedule. We offer our colleagues the following schedules from 4 ~ 8 weeks on/off.

Our company
As ship manager we are responsible for the full package; technical, purchasing, crew and QHSE. This all we perform
in close cooperation with our officers and crew on board. The company is managed by 8 colleagues on shore, and we do have over
80 professional colleagues at sea. The organization is characterized by a good knowledge and experience in ship management
and with ex-seafarers on shore.
We have a specific company CBA and offer direct contracts.
The fleet
The vessels we operate are built at the Sietas Shipyard in Germany.
The main engines are Deutz or MAK (which are operating at MGO), the auxiliary engines are caterpillar.
